About zaob.ao

Short URLs for news articles

zaob.ao shortens zaobao.com addresses for readers sharing news, commentary and other pages. A short URL fits into a message or collection of articles while continuing to point to the source.

Paste the original URL, select Shorten and copy the result. Automatic link creation is free and does not require an account.

Supported domains

To reduce abuse, zaob.ao only shortens URLs on the following domains and their subdomains:

zaobao.com, zaobao.com.sg

Other domains are not supported.

Link history

Links you create appear under History on the home page. This list is saved only in your browser. Removing an entry from your history does not disable the short link.

You cannot edit or delete links created here. To create links you can manage and view click statistics for, choose a paid S.EE plan.
