Terms of use

1. The service

zaob.ao provides free URL shortening for a defined list of supported domains. No account is required. We may change, limit or discontinue the service, or change the supported domains, at any time.

2. Acceptable use

Do not use zaob.ao to link to malware, phishing, spam, illegal content or material that infringes the rights of others. Automated bulk link creation and attempts to bypass rate limits are prohibited.

We may refuse to create or disable a link without notice if we believe it violates these terms.

3. Short links

Short links are public: anyone with a link can open it. They are intended for long-term use, but continued availability is not guaranteed.

Links created on zaob.ao are stored on the S.EE platform. You cannot edit or delete them yourself. To request that a link be disabled, contact us.

The history on the home page is saved only in your browser. Removing a history entry does not disable the link.

4. No warranty

zaob.ao is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be available at all times or free of errors, or that a short link will always reach its destination. We are not responsible for the content of the sites links point to.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, S.EE is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of zaob.ao or your inability to use it.

6. Trademarks

zaob.ao is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Lianhe Zaobao, SPH Media or any of their services. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used here only to describe which links the service accepts.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above indicates when they were last updated. By continuing to use zaob.ao after a change, you accept the updated terms.

8. Contact

If you have questions about these terms, contact us.
